Guruvayoor taxi
Ottamthullal is sarcasm and satire merged into an artform. It stemmed
from a ridiculing comment that a chakyar (character in a monologue art
form), made at Kunchan Nambiar who fell asleep during a chakyar
performance. It was in response to this that Nambiar developed
Ottamthullal which humorously questioned prejudices and practices in
the society.
